Day 1- 06/08/12
Today our teacher said to the class that we are doing our new inquiry project and it was: Rock Quest. Rock Quest is about doing a band that is ROCK! When we know about the inquiry topic we needed to form into groups and our one was: An, Kim, Annie and Vianie. After that we have to do the jobs, An and Annie was the Guitar, Kim was the drummer and Vianie was the singer. When we done all of that our teachers gave us a book for each group. We wrote the jobs and the logos in the book and then we decorated on the book.
Day 2- 10/08/12
On the 10th of August our teacher said that we needed to do our logos in our laptop and in our teacher's blog and when we scroll it down there were three websites so we can do 3 text of our band names each.
Day 3- 13/08/12
Today our teachers said to us that we are going to edit our blog because that's for people that can see there is a new rock band. When we are editing our blogs our teachers in two rooms were setting the Wii so we can practice our band song. Our band song was: Carry On my Wayward Son. When our teacher was finishing setting up the Wii our teachers done a try of a song that they liked lots of people was looking the teachers what they are playing. After when two of our teachers finished An had try playing the drums it was so hard so she was off the stage. After the teachers said to the two classes that the teachers are forwarded to look for people to play and so our teacher saw Vianie and Annie to play. Vianie was playing the drums and Annie was playing the guitar. It was tricky!
Day 4- 14/08/12
Today our teachers said to us that we needed to finished it off the logos. So when we got our laptops we done it quickly but one of the teachers just deleted Vianie and Annie's one because he can't open it. So he made the file in red. We were disappointing but we were nearly finished.
Day 5- 4/09/2
Today our teachers said to us that we have to finish our rolling stone answers for the first hour. When we finished our first hour we have to start a interview podcast about us. It was really funny because An said ' What's up guys where did you guys meet each other'
Day 6- 18/09/12
Today our teachers said to us take a photo of our rock band group but some people didn't bring their costumes so we didn't get to take a photo. So we had to do our journals and we had to publish our journals into our blog if we didn't do it.
Day 7- 10/10/12
Today we had Rock Quest and we had to do our poster for people to go to our Battle of the Bands festival. We were nearly finish we have to make the title no gap. But it didn't work on pages because the title pushes it, then the words get missing until we put it back before we moved it.
Day 8- 15/10/12
Today we have all day of Rock Quest. In this day every band get to have practices on the wii and during the bands are having their rehearsal, the other bands have to work on the questions.Each person have 2 questions to answer.
Day 9- 16/10/12
Today we had Rock Quest and we had to do our blogs. And everyday we have to fill our journals. So people can see what rock people does and then they can be a rock person too!
Day 10- 17/10/12
Today we are still rehearsing bands in Guitar Hero. Our teacher told us to make a trailer movie in iMovie. In the trailer there will be us rehearsing, battle of the bands, rolling stone magazine and about us.
